Com fio de arame de ferro Guilherme Lopes cria esculturas feitas totalmente a mão de forma meticulosa e bem planejadas através da modelagem do arame. Sua técnica distinta confere as obras uma estética e superfícies inigualáveis obtidas pela trama de diversas camadas de fios de arame, tornando assim as esculturas únicas, impossíveis de copiar.
Nascido em Foz do Iguaçu- PR, em 1985, desde pequeno demonstrou habilidades artísticas no desenho, pintura e escultura e ouvir da família, amigos, vizinhos e colegas de trabalho a frase " ele é um artista" era algo muito normal, que sempre o impulsionou a produzir mais arte, mas não profissionalmente. Atuando como servidor público, Guilherme Lopes, paralelamente prosseguia com seu hobby artístico, achando que era só mais uma pessoa que desenhava bem.
No ano de 2022 após ter tido o seu primeiro contato com o arame e realizar suas primeiras peças, descobriu esse novo mundo mágico a desbravar que é o mundo dos arames, viu que agregar experiências artísticas a outras pessoas era possível através deste material artístico tão diferente. Desta forma Guilherme viu que era a hora de subir o degrau de sua trajetória artística transformando o hobby em profissão.
Apesar de ser um artista emergente já foi aceito por algumas galerias, temos como um exemplo a Galeria de Arte Um Lugar ao Sol, que fica bem no coração do Centro Histórico de Curitiba, sob a direção da Marchand Munira Calluf que adquiriu três obras de Guilherme Lopes.
Neste curto espaço de tempo já participou de 4 exposições coletivas em Santa Catarina e São Paulo e recentemente Ganhou em 2º lugar na categoria escultura o Prêmio Barueri de Artes Visuais 2023 com a obra "Sustentáculo".
Atualmente está cursando Bacharelado em Artes visuais pelo Centro Universitário Internacional (Uninter), na cidade de Curitiba, onde reside a mais de 15 anos.

Using iron wire, Guilherme Lopes creates meticulously planned handmade sculptures using wire modeling. His distinctive technique gives the works an unparalleled aesthetic and surface obtained by weaving several layers of wire, thus making the sculptures unique and impossible to copy.
Born in Foz do Iguaçu, PR, in 1985, from an early age he showed artistic skills in drawing, painting and sculpture and hearing from family, friends, neighbors and work colleagues the phrase "he's an artist" was something very normal, which always pushed him to produce more art, but not professionally. Working as a civil servant, Guilherme Lopes pursued his artistic hobby in parallel, thinking he was just another person who drew well.In 2022, after having his first contact with wire and making his first pieces, he discovered this magical new world to explore, which is the world of wire. He saw that it was possible to add artistic experiences to other people through this very different artistic material. So Guilherme saw that it was time to take his artistic career to the next level by turning his hobby into a profession.
Despite being an emerging artist, he has already been accepted by some galleries, such as the Um Lugar ao Sol Art Gallery, which is located right in the heart of Curitiba's historic center, under the direction of Marchand Munira Calluf, who acquired three of Guilherme Lopes' works.
In this short space of time he has already taken part in 4 group exhibitions in Santa Catarina and São Paulo and recently won 2nd place in the sculpture category of the Barueri Visual Arts Award 2023 with his work "Sustentáculo".
He is currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts at the Centro Universitário Internacional (Uninter), in the city of Curitiba, where he has lived for over 15 years.
