Sobre o Artista
Nascido em Foz do Iguaçu (PR) em 1985 e residente em Curitiba há mais de 20 anos, Guilherme Lopes sempre demonstrou aptidão artística, transitando pelo desenho, pintura e escultura desde a infância. O que começou como hobby, movido pelo reconhecimento de amigos e familiares, transformou-se em sua verdadeira vocação profissional.
A Técnica e a Obra
A partir de 2022, Guilherme descobriu sua paixão pela modelagem em arame de ferro. Com um método meticuloso e autoral, ele cria esculturas inteiramente manuais, utilizando a trama de diversas camadas de fios. Essa técnica distinta confere às obras uma estética única e superfícies inigualáveis, resultando em peças autorais e exclusivas.
Trajetória e Reconhecimento
Apesar de ser um artista emergente, Guilherme Lopes já consolida sua presença no cenário artístico:

Destaque: Obra "Sustentáculo" premiada com o 2º lugar na categoria Escultura no Prêmio Barueri de Artes Visuais 2023.

Exposições: Participação em quatro exposições coletivas entre Santa Catarina e São Paulo.

Individual: Realizou sua primeira exposição individual no renomado teatro Ópera de Arame, em Curitiba, durante evento nacional da classe médica.

Representação: possui algumas de suas obras integrando o acervo da Galeria de Arte Um Lugar ao Sol, localizada no Centro Histórico de Curitiba, sob a direção de Munira Calluf.

About the Artist
Born in Foz do Iguaçu (Paraná) in 1985 and a resident of Curitiba for over 20 years, Guilherme Lopes has always shown artistic aptitude, exploring drawing, painting, and sculpture since childhood. What began as a hobby, driven by the recognition of friends and family, turned into his true professional vocation.
Technique and Work
Starting in 2022, Guilherme discovered his passion for iron wire modeling. Using a meticulous, signature method, he creates entirely handmade sculptures, utilizing a weave of multiple layers of wire. This distinct technique gives the works a unique aesthetic and unparalleled surfaces, resulting in original, exclusive pieces.
Journey and Recognition
Despite being an emerging artist, Guilherme Lopes is already consolidating his presence in the art scene:

Highlight: The work "Sustentáculo" was awarded 2nd place in the Sculpture category at the 2023 Barueri Visual Arts Prize.

Exhibitions: Participated in four group exhibitions across Santa Catarina and São Paulo.

Solo: Held his first solo exhibition at the renowned Ópera de Arame theater in Curitiba during a national medical class event.
